What are the most important things to watch for in the first days after surgery?

In the first days, take your prescribed medicines and complete the full course of the antibiotic, and don't wait for the pain to intensify before taking your painkiller. Keep the wound clean and dry, pat it gently without rubbing, and raise your head on two pillows to reduce swelling.

If you notice ongoing bleeding, rapidly increasing swelling, or pain that doesn't respond to painkillers, contact the clinic immediately. Your own discharge instructions remain the reference.
