Advanced Body Contouring in Jeddah
Advanced body contouring is a surgical plan designed individually to address more than one area or component of body proportion. Care begins with consultation, comprehensive examination, and discussion of priorities, realistic goals, alternatives, and treatment limitations.
Assessment and suitability
Assessment considers fat, skin and tissue distribution, skin elasticity, proportion, weight stability, health, medicines, smoking, and previous procedures. An advanced treatment scope is not suitable for every patient; a staged or limited plan, or no intervention, may be more appropriate.
Anaesthesia
Anaesthesia is determined by the plan’s extent, number of areas, health, comfort, safety, and facility requirements. Treatment may require general anaesthesia; any other options are discussed only after medical assessment, and no single option suits every patient.
Recovery
Bruising, swelling, discomfort, and return to activities vary according to the plan’s extent, number of areas, and individual healing factors. Specific instructions may be provided for care, compression garments, activity, and follow-up, and these take priority over general information.
Limitations and risks
A particular result or perfect symmetry cannot be guaranteed. Scarring, bleeding, infection, fluid collection, altered sensation, contour irregularity or asymmetry, skin laxity, delayed healing, anaesthetic complications, and possible further treatment are discussed before a decision.
