Important Notice

These instructions provide general guidance and may be modified by Dr. Khalid Almutairi according to the procedure, technique, and the patient’s medical condition. If this information differs from the direct instructions or discharge prescription, follow the patient-specific instructions given by the doctor. Do not change a medication dose, stop medication prescribed for a chronic condition, or begin a new treatment without medical guidance.

This information does not replace medical assessment or postoperative follow-up.

Compression Garment

Wear the compression garment for 6 to 9 weeks, according to the procedure.

Nutrition

Maintain a diet rich in protein and vitamin C.

Smoking

Avoid smoking for up to three months to support wound healing and preservation of the transferred fat.

Pain Management

Pain control follows the standard protocol described in the Pain Management section: paracetamol and ibuprofen, at the dose specified in the discharge prescription and with the contraindications taken into account.

Follow-up

Attend the scheduled follow-up appointments, which may include four reviews during recovery.

Possibility of a Later Revision

Some limited residual areas or areas of irregularity may require a later minor revision.

Some minor revisions can be performed under local anaesthesia after healing is complete and the result has stabilised, only when medically appropriate. This does not mean that a revision is expected, included, guaranteed, or always possible under local anaesthesia.

Urgent Warning Information

Follow the urgent warning signs in the General Instructions and seek medical assessment according to the escalation stated there. Do not rely on email or a website form for a potentially life-threatening emergency.
